As a tutor I can support students in improving specific skills and areas of their language learning, such as pronunciation/speaking, grammar, exam technique, listening and generally building their confidence.
I offer weekly sessions on zoom or skype and can also do a short block of 2, 3 or 4 sessions to help in preparation for Speaking or Writing Assessments.

Excellent tutor
Barbara has been an excellent help with Nat 5 French for both my children. She has been really helpful preparing for exams with an excellent knowledge of what’s required by SQA. She has a flexible approach that adapts to suit the student’s needs. Highly recommend.
Excellent tutor
Barbara got my daughter's grade up from unclassified in her prelim to an A in her final Nat 5 exam. She tutored my son as well, who also finished with an A in Nat 5 French. She gave great tips on how to play the exam game, but more importantly, both son and daughter continue to speak French when they are in France.
